AGE LIMIT :

·         Candidates born between 17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003. (both days inclusive)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

For Group ‘X’ Trades {Except Education Instructor Trade) :- Passed intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR

Three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a government recognized polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma or in intermediate / matriculation if English is not a subject in diploma. List of eligible diploma course are available on website www.airmenselection.cdac.in

▶ For Group ‘Y’ Trades {Except Auto Tech, IAF (P), IAF(S) & Musician Trades) :- Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

▶ For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade :- Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.

2 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station New Delhi: All districts of UT of Delhi and Uttarakhand. As per registration ( approx 175 candidates each day)

 3 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station Kanpur (UttarPradesh): All districts of state of Uttar Pradesh. As per registration ( approx 175 candidates each day)

 10 Airmen Selection Centre, Bihta, Patna (Bihar): All districts of state of Jharkhand. As per registration ( approx 250 candidates each day)

 15 Airmen Selection Centre, Shyamala Hills, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): All the districts of State of Madhya Pradesh As per registration (approx 250 candidates each day)

 Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, Puducherry: All the districts of State of Tamil Nadu, UT of Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands As per registration (approx 350 candidates each day

PFT (PHYSCIAL FITNESS TEST) :

Physical Fitness Test (PFT): PFT consists of a 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the physical fitness test.
