Sahara Refund Documents Required – Overview

To apply for a refund from Sahara, depositors can register on the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal. The refund will be credited to the depositor’s account within 45 days of filing an online claim, subject to verification and fund availability. To file a claim, depositors should provide their membership number, account number, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, deposit certificate for passbook, and PAN card. Investors hope again – Sahara Refund Documents

Amit Shah announced during the portal launch that initially, around four crore people will benefit. Through the Sahara Refund Portal, investors will receive a transparent refund of Rs 5000 crore. He mentioned that the Sahara case had been in court for a long time and involved multiple agencies. In this situation, the government under Narendra Modi has taken the initiative to protect the interests of the investors by creating the refund portal.

During the inauguration of the Sahara Refund Portal, Amit Shah, the Union Home and Cooperative Minister, announced that the data of four cooperative societies is now available online. This portal will assist 1.7 crore depositors in registering themselves and resolving their claims. The depositors will receive their money back in their bank accounts within 45 days.

4.    Step 4: The Sahara India Refund Amount will be credited to the bank account of the legitimate depositor.
