Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) invites online applications for recruitment to
the post of Sub Inspector (Unarmed Branch) and Sub Inspector (Armed
Branch) in West Bengal Police for 464 vacancies. All eligible and
interested male and female candidates can apply online at WBPRB official
website prb.wb.gov.in or wbpolice.gov.in from 09th
March 2024 to till the application last date 07th April 2024 for
Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment in WB Police.

WB Police Sub Inspector Eligibility Criteria 2024
Educational
Qualification : The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any
discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.
Language :
The applicant
must be able to speak, read and write Bengali Language. However, this provision
will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill
sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.
For the
applicant of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong District, the
provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official language Act, 1961 will be
applicable.
